Chippendale House
Brief Description : 100 year-old inner-city terrace house which had a 'sustainable makeover' in 1996. Since then, it's become well known through many tours, media stories and the 'Sustainable House' book published by Choice books. All waste-water is treated & re-used on-site, and a 10,000 litre rainwater tank supplies water for the rest of the household needs. Solar Hot Water and Grid-interactive Photovoltaic Systems are installed.
